Government Affairs Advocacy

The East Orlando Chamber of Commerce is embarking into new territory with the launch of our Government Advocacy Program. The Chamber laid the foundation for this program by drafting its first Business Advocacy Agenda, Planning for Greatness.

The EOCC published the agenda in February 2008, in time for the critical political season. With important agenda items facing our city and county government, state legislators and U.S. Congress, the EOCC is striving to provide a unified voice for East and Southeast Orlando.

We are turning to our members and the community to help us raise the necessary funding to hire a Government Affairs Director who will oversee our Government Advocacy Program.
