East Orlando Celebrates Education Day |

Held every October, East Orlando Celebrates Education Day presented by Bright House Networks is a fun-filled day at Waterford Lakes Town Center that supports our local schools. This is an excellent opportunity for schools to showcase their talent to more than 10,000 attendees and to fundraise for upcoming events.
In addition to the school showcase, local businesses and non-profits can participate by purchasing a booth space to feature their products and services.
Throughout the day, students can compete for prizes in a variety of contests, including:
Math Olympics Spelling Bee Geography Challenge
Science Extravaganza Joke & Poem Contest
Dance teams, cheerleaders, bands, chorus groups and others perform throughout the day for the community. A number of kid-friendly activities, including bounce houses, face painting, and other attractions are available throughout the day making this event perfect for the entire family.
